Why we're building Snapnotes
Great notes already exist — they're just scattered across group chats and old drives. We want to put them, and better ways to study them, in one place.
Every class has a few students whose notes everyone wants. Before exams, those notes get photographed, forwarded, re-forwarded and lost in group chats. The next batch starts from scratch.
We think that's a waste. Good notes should be easy to find, easy to study from, and the people who write them should get credit for it.
What we're building
- One place for notes, organised by subject and unit, so you can find what your syllabus actually asks for.
- Tools that make notes work harder — quizzes, flashcards and more, generated from the note you're reading.
- Credit for contributors, so the students who write great notes are recognised for it.
Built with students
We're students too, and we're building Snapnotes in the open with the people who use it. If something is confusing, slow or missing, tell us — most of what's on our roadmap started as a message from a student.
Study smarter, not longer. That's the whole idea.
